Q
I gave a friend a pill at a party. I didn't sell it. Does that matter?
A Answer
Less than most people think. Handing drugs to someone else, even for free, can be charged as supplying or transferring drugs — a more serious offense than use. Courts look at whether money changed hands and how often, but "I was just sharing" is not a defense. These cases need careful handling from the first interview.
